The Bush School Youth Leadership Program can propel your passion with an in-depth, in-residence experience at Texas A&M University’s Bush School for Government and Public Service.
Beginning summer 2025, Texas A&M University will offer 75 high school students a 3-week civics-focused residential experience through the Bush School of Government and Public Service. Made possible with support from the Texas Pioneer Foundation, the program will be held annually each summer.
Students will focus on civics and public service by building relationships with academic and community experts in a variety of fields while also engaging in activities that might include:

Hamilton County Electric Cooperative (HCEC) is again sponsoring two (2) students on the Government-in-Action Youth Tour. HCEC is proud to carry on its commitment to empowering two (2) local youths from its service area to participate in the Government-in-Action Youth Tour, an 8-day guided trip to Washington, D.C.
The Youth Tour is an all-expenses-paid trip to the nation's capital. Our statewide association, Texas Electric Cooperatives, coordinates the trip from June 15 to 22, 2025.
Eligibility: Students who have completed their sophomore year of high school and whose parents or legal guardians are members of the Hamilton County Electric Cooperative Association are eligible.

We have only 2 games lined up this Friday in Oglesby, and you won’t want to miss them!
📅 Game Schedule:
Varsity Girls: 2:00 PM
Varsity Boys: 3:30 PM
This will be the boys first district game of the season. The girls are currently 2-0 in district play.
