Meet the Teacher will be August 17th from 6-8 pm. We will serve a meal for the community starting at 5:30 pm.
In conjunction with Meet the Teacher Jonesboro Baptist Church will have their school supply drive. Stop by the church to do a quick one stop shop for all your child’s school supply needs. We certainly appreciate how JBC supplies all of of students with their school supplies each year!

STAAR results are starting to show up on the parent site from the state. If you do not have their unique code, it's very easy to look up with your child's social security number. Here is the link:

Please know that if you call the school asking for results we do not have detailed results yet. We are waiting for the reports from the state as well. You will be able to get more detail from the states site at this time.
Mrs. Barnett and Ms Byrom will be hosting a parenting group for online safety. In this group we will be reading an informative book that details how to protect our children in online settings and discussing how we can support each other with our children's online presence. 2022-2023 Supply List
Below you will find information for sponsoring one of the field signs at JISD. We will start placing signs in the gym, softball and baseball fields, as well as the football field. All funds go back into the athletic department. If you have any questions please contact the school.

Last day!
Junior High Cheer will host another round of tryouts on June 1st at 9 am. Anyone going into 6th grade-8th grade for the 22-23 school year would like to tryout, please contact Taylor Fisher at the school. Because of the short notice of tryouts, those trying out will be allowed to use any cheer they wish.

Wednesday: 8:30 am Senior Walk, bus clean up, History fair projects at 2pm
Thursday: pk-4th grade award at 8:30 am, 5th-8th awards 10am, early release at noon.
Friday: staff workday, Graduation at 5:30pm.
