JISD would like to congratulate Costin Allison and the rest of his team for wining the 2021 Aksarben National Champion Livestock Judging Competition!
The team traveled to Nebraska this weekend to compete in this highly competitive arena. The team has been working and studying together for years and their hard work has really paid off.
Costin we are so very proud of you. Keep up the hard work and dedication young man!

Junior High OAP tryouts will be on Wednesday, September 15th at 4pm in the cafeteria. If you have a conflict please see Mrs. Janke by September 14th to set up another time.

Nurse K is reviewing immunizations and wants to remind parents to get their kiddos the necessary shots for their age/grade. We have several in kindergarten and 7th grade who are due, as well as a few in other grades. Please bring a current record of immunizations to the NURSE after your student receives the required shots , so our records can be updated.
Reminder we do not have school Monday, September 6, 2021.
Shirt/Sweatshirt sales will be extended through next Friday the 10th. Forms will be going home today for elementary and junior high students. High school students will be able to pick up in the front office. These sales go to help support the JISD cheerleading squads.

It's time for Friday night Eagle Football!!
Our boys play at 7:30 at HOME on Pruitt Field against Coolidge and we need your help in the Concession Stand.
These home football games are the main source of our fundraising and support of our athletes and students and Jonesboro ISD!! Please volunteer your time to prep, cook, work, and clean up.
You can help for a part of the game or the entire game...whatever works for you.
Remember that we provide you with a free meal and your admittance to the game is free as well.

The Jonesboro ISD cheerleaders are selling a shirt and sweatshirt option for the coming football season. Order forms are attached with all info needed. Please turn into the office with payment. Order forms will also be in the office at the school as well. Must have payment for order to be placed.
